Description:
1. The spherical roller bearings comprise of two rows of rollers, the outer ring with a common sphered raceway, and two inner ring raceways inclined at an angle to the bearing axis.
2. This design gives the bearings an attractive combination of design features making them irreplaceable in many demanding applications.
3. The bearings are self aligning and consequently insensitive to misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing and to shaft deflection or bending.
4. The spherical roller bearings can take high radial loads and high axial loads acting in both directions.
5. The bearings are produced in many sizes and designs, depending on the different arrangements of the floating guide ring, the inner ring and/or cages.
