NTN 562040/GMP5 are double direction angular contact thrust ball bearings for the main spindles. They can withstand axial loads in both directions. Due to a larger 60° contact angle, rigidity in axial directions is enhanced. The structure of these bearings limits them to grease-lubricated vertical shaft applications.
